Activity Description

This activity develops effective, competency-based developmental instruction with learning center support and the reinforcement of basic skills in gateway courses. In addition, New Mexico State University-Alamogordo will create two learning communities and a Summer Bridge Program for new students who test into all areas of developmental work. An aggressive faculty development program focusing on instructional techniques and technologies to promote student success, including intensive annual summer institutes, will prepare full-and part-time faculty to serve their students more effectively.
