What To Expect
NMSU-Alamogordo and NMSU-Carlsbad are createing a totally Online AA degree. What does this mean to you as a student? It means you can get an AA degree with very little time spent at the campuses. You will be able to work from your home, or anywhere else that may have an internet connection. You will be taking your classes via Webct, an online Course Management System. When useing Webct you can do your work, take quizes, and turn your work in at the time of day that you actually have the time to do these things.If you have reason to leave town, you can still get work done via the internet. On this page you will find links to tutorials that will give you an idea of what to expect from Webct. Online courses are part of the future in education, so be a active participant in the future and look at these tutorials so you are prepared. You may one day be taking a class with an Astronaut living on the International Space Station!
