May's Townsend Library Art Exhibit

The Cloudcroft Art Society members are displaying their work for the month of May. Artists displaying their works include Cyndy Nesbit (president of the CAS), Jan Rasch, Sue Parry, Peggy Korth, Jeanette Whitcomb, Susie Farmer and Mary Ellen Keith. A reception will be held from 3 to 4 PM on Monday, May 5, at the Library. Everyone is invited.

This year's exhibition is in recognition and memory of Kristen Redpath, who received her Associate's Degree from NMSU-A in 2007. A member of the Cloudcroft Art Society, she received the Grand Champion Ribbon at the Otero County Fair in 2005. She passed away November 11, 2007 in a motor vehicle accident. She was the daughter of Judy Holmes, and stepdaughter of Steve Holmes, a member of the NMSU-A faculty.
