New Student Orientation
New Student Orientations will be held for first year students on August 11th from 4 to 7 PM and on August 19th from 9 AM to Noon (choose one to attend). These sessions will be held in the Rohovec Fine Ars Center on the NMSU-A Campus and parents are encouraged to attend! Please see the Student Orientation Flyer (PDF Format).

Who Should Attend?
If you are enrolled for the fall semester and if this is your first college experience with NMSU-Alamogordo, you are expected attend one of the sessions above.
How Will It Help?
It will make the transition to college more comfortable because you will know what to expect, and you will have the opportunity to meet other new students.
What Will Be Covered?
You will hear from faculty and staff. You will learn about important services, how to navigate the campus, and you will get information and tips that will help you to be successful in college.
