Welcome to Alamogordo, We're New Mexico State;
Our classes are small, and our faculty's great;
If you try our curriculum, I know you'll agree,
There's no finer place to go for your Associates Degree.
We are a very small school on the side of a hill,
Down below the Space Center (which is higher up still);
You'll walk out of each class with more than you ever knew,
Because our faculty's goal is to educate you.

So come to Alamogordo for a place in the sun;
Come to Alamogordo where we're all having fun;
Here at Alamogordo when the finals are done,
You'll know at NMSU-A, you're number one!
You'll find geography, math, and there's a choir class, too,
And a special sociology designed just for you;
And we have history and English here and all of these things,
And all the benefits that higher education brings
Now, we're 50 years old; Well! Imagine that!
