Course Description
Course Outline
Stretching Exercise (Optional) This course is aimed to help each student develop an understanding of total physical fitness. It will demonstrate an understanding of the specific exercises and the muscle groups that are affected. It will also establish and put into practice proper weight lifting techniques and habits which will be useful as a lifetime activity. Course Requirement
This is a participation activity class and attendance and punctuality are required and will affect your grade accordingly. You are expected to attend all classes. In case of an emergency, an excused absence will require contact with the instructor within 48 hours and the excused absences will be determined on a case by case basis. Only two excused make-up days will be required to attend another physical fitness class given by the same instructor to make up for the excused absence and no points will be deducted for excused absences. Twenty points will be deducted for unexcused absences and ten points for tardies. Student Disabilities
Late or Missed Assignment
& Plagiarism It is unethical and against University policy to turn in another's work as your own or to not cite references in papers, projects, or presentation. This is called plagiarism. If your are caught plagiarizing you will be given a zero on the project or assignment in question. At the instructors discretion additonal disciplinary action will be taken. Grade Criteria
Skills Test
The student will max on the squats and bench press. The student will be evaluated based on his/her own strength improvement in the above areas. Since all student wil be different with regard to physical ability, grading will be considered according to the scale. Written Examination
